This special tour of Bluebird will introduce you to the past, present and future history of Bear Mountain and surrounding areas. Lead by a Professor of Geology, your tour will begin in the base area and meander up to the summit of West Bowl where you’ll have the best view of the intrusive volcanos that dot the landscape.

This tour will last approximately two hours and will finish at the Perch. It it recommended for intermediate backcountry skiers. Have a burrito at the base before you set out to explore!
