Who Should Take this Course:
This course is ideal for backcountry travelers who have taken an AIARE 1 or 2 course previously and want to review current practices and practice their skills.
In this Course, Students Will:

Discuss current snowpack factors and review snowpit techniques.

Review tools (online and field) for identifying avalanche terrain and route planning.

Practice the framework for making decisions in avalanche terrain and safe travel protocols.
